1. Overview

StayDialed is a habit accountability platform. You stake money on a 30-day personal challenge. Each day you check in honestly, that day's stake is protected and added to your refund. Each day you slip, that day's stake is forfeited. Slips do not end your challenge — the challenge runs for the full 30 days regardless. At day 30, your refund equals your daily stake multiplied by the number of days you succeeded.

By creating an account or using StayDialed, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to enter financial agreements in your jurisdiction to use StayDialed. By using the platform you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. The Stake Mechanic

When you start a challenge, the full 30-day stake amount is charged to your payment method upfront and held by StayDialed. Your refund is calculated as: refund = daily_stake × days_succeeded.

Forfeited funds from slip days are non-refundable. If you complete all 30 days without a slip, your full stake is refunded. Partial completion results in a partial refund equal to the clean days you logged.

StayDialed relies on your honest self-reporting. We have no way to independently verify check-ins. By using the platform you agree to check in truthfully. Falsifying check-ins is a violation of these Terms and may result in account termination without refund.

4. Payments and Refunds

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By completing payment you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. StayDialed does not store your full card details.

Refunds for completed challenges are issued within 5 business days of challenge completion. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Coach plan subscriptions ($20/month) are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are issued for subscription cancellations.

5. Not a Medical or Clinical Service

StayDialed is not a medical service, therapy, counseling, or treatment program. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical, psychological, dietary, or legal advice. The platform is a financial accountability tool only.

If you are dealing with substance dependence, an eating disorder, or any other condition that requires clinical support, please seek help from a qualified healthcare professional. StayDialed is not a substitute for professional care.

6. Coach / AI Accountability Partner

The Coach feature provides an AI-generated accountability partner powered by Anthropic's Claude API. Responses are generated by a large language model and are not reviewed by a human. The AI is not a therapist, counselor, dietitian, or medical professional.

Do not rely on AI responses for medical, psychological, legal, or financial decisions. StayDialed is not liable for any harm arising from your use of or reliance on AI-generated messages.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use StayDialed to circumvent the stake mechanic, create multiple accounts to exploit refund logic, harass other users, or engage in any fraudulent activity. We reserve the right to terminate accounts and forfeit stakes for violations at our sole discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StayDialed and its founders, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to StayDialed in the 30 days preceding the claim.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of StayDialed will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Oklahoma. You waive the right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
