Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

We collect the minimum data needed to operate StayDialed:

• Email address — for authentication and account communication
• Challenge data — habit name, category, daily stake, check-in history, streak, slips
• Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe; we store only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status
• Coach messages — if you use the AI Accountability Partner feature, conversation history is stored to provide context across sessions

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to operate your challenges, process payments, power the AI Accountability Partner, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

StayDialed uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (supabase.com)
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management (stripe.com)
• Anthropic — AI language model powering the Coach feature (anthropic.com)
• Vercel — hosting and edge runtime (vercel.com)

Each provider has its own privacy policy. By using StayDialed you acknowledge that your data may be processed by these services as described in their respective policies.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and challenge data for as long as your account is active. Completed challenge data (check-in history, results) is kept to calculate and document refunds. Coach conversation history is kept for session continuity.

5. Leaderboard

Active challenges may appear on the public leaderboard by default, showing your first name (or username) and challenge progress. You can opt out of leaderboard visibility in your profile settings.

6. Data Deletion

You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@staydialedapp.com with the subject line “Delete my account.” We will process your request within 30 days. Note: data required to document completed financial transactions may be retained for legal and accounting purposes.

7. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database access is protected by row-level security policies. We do not store plaintext passwords or full card details. We take reasonable measures to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

StayDialed is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
